Joanne Harrison BVet Med Cert SAM MRCVS
Jo qaulified from the Royal Veterinary College (London) in 1993. Upon qualification Jo started working in a small animal practice and has worked as the head Veterinary Surgeon for a number of years. In an effort to provide a higher standard of care for her patients Jo took the RCVS Certificate in Small Animal Medicine in 2003. Jo enjoys spending her free time gardening and taking care of her 2 dogs and 5 cats.

Matthew Harrison VN
Matthew began nursing in 1995 after leaving school and qualified as a veterinary nurse in 1997. Matthew has spent the last 7 years working in referral practices that specialise in soft tissue surgery, orthopaedics, internal medicine, oncology, diagnostic imaging, neurology, anaesthesia and dermatology. Matthew has a special interest in anaesthesia and soft tissue surgery.

Mary Cowdry VN Head Veterinary Nurse
I have worked at the surgery since June 2001 as a trainee veterinary nurse. I have just taken my final exams and have qualified as a veterinary nurse
I have been married to mike for the past ten years. We have no children ; but we do have two dogs a staffie called "Bruce" and a Scottish deerhound called "Delphi".
We recently lost our old labrador "Badger". We also have four pigs living at the end of our garden "Ruby, Elmer, Desmond and Runty".
I enjoy many activities outside of work, Mike and I are both active members of Grove C of E church. I am passionate about narrowboats and canals and hope to have a boat of my own one day. Iam also interested in arts and craft and am currently making two types of rag rug, but I enjoy trying most things.

Rosemary Anne Millard VN
I started work at The Brook Veterinary Surgery in 1995 as a nusing assiatant/receptionist.
In 1998 I passed my Pre-VN exams which enabled me to continue to study for the veterinary nursing qualification as a part time student. I qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2003.
I live locally with my husband Mick, and I have two grown up children. We have a dog called "Louie" who is a heinz 57 and looks like a lamb. We also have a cat called "Gizzy". I am also the proud owner of "Blossom" who is a 15.3 bay cob, who takes up most of my spare time and wages!
I also enjoy walking, local history, reading, going to the theatre and the cinema.

Abigail Giles
Abi started at the practice in October 2007 as a student veterinary nurse. Abi will be starting college in September 2008 to begin her formal NVQ training.
