This is a subject that we are passionate about. It is a quick procedure that lasts the lifetime of your pet and has helped reunite many lost pet's with their owners.
Another benefit is that at this practice we use the "Bio-thermo" chip which allows us to take the temperature of an animal without using a thermometer.

Ultrasonography
In december 2006 we purchsed a new ultrasound machine called a Telemed 200 which uses the processing power of a laptop to give us an ultrasound image.

Electrocardiography (ECG)
This a machine that allows us to assess and monitor the electrical activity in the heart

Continuing professional development
To enable us to provide a professional service every member of the team is required to undertake on going training and job specific updates.

Trained nursing staff 24 hours a day
Most of our nurses are qualified and appear on the list of veterinary nurses maintained by the RCVS. As a training practice we may also have some un-qualified nurses who are working towards the qualification.

Free flea check
Due to the laws governing prescriptions we are not allowed to sell "drugs" to a client whose animal has not been seen within the year. Therefore if you think that your pet has fleas and you would like to purchase some flea treatment we can offer you a free flea check. We will book you a consultation with the Vet who will examine your pet to ensure that they are healthy and we can then supply you with the flea treatments. If any other conditions are diagnosed during this free flea check the Vet will discuss this with you and the best way to proceed.

Local Veterinary Inspector (Pet Passports)
Jo is an LVI which enables her to certify your pet for there travels.

In-House laboratory service
We can perform most blood tests within the practice in a matter of minutes. This enables us to tailor a patients treatment to there condition without having to wait 24 hours for the results.

Ample car parking
We have ample car parking on site at all times.

Operating theatre
We have a fully equipped operating theatre that is available for use 24 hours a day should the need arise. We are equipped with pulse oximetry, blood pressure monitoring, infusion pumps, bair hugger patient warming system and many other vital pieces of equipment.

Training practice
We are a RCVS recognised training practice. This means that we can take on student nurses and in conjunction with Warwickshire college help them attain NVQ level 2 & 3 in veterinary nursing.

Consultations by appointment
To help us keep waiting time to a minimum and provide a better service all of our sugeries areby appointment. We endeavour to see all clients the same day if requested. Any patient requiring urgent attention will always be seen the same day.
